As far as I’m concerned any candidate that isn’t for complete and total border security and deporting ALL illegal aliens doesn’t get my vote. Period.
I will vote, but only for congress, the senate, etc, if a candidate for prez doesn’t meet my expectations vis a vis the border and immigration.
I doubt anyone would be able to get a full deportation through congress but there are a lot of methods to strongly encourage them to leave on their own.
There are at least 30 million illegals in America and that is enough to fully populate more than 50 congressional districts. That’s the population of Michigan Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Anybody think we can afford to screw around with this issue for another decade?
That's very important to me too. I was interested in hearing if Sarah Palin's stance would be to deport them all but I guess she's not running.
If she is, she's making a bad calculation waiting this long. She may be a maverick against the establishment and the media when it comes to doing what she wants and when she wants to do it and not caring about what they want but right now the American people are desperate for a leader to come out and run... the markets may actually react positively just knowing that a Sarah Palin or someone with real hope has just announced their candidacy.
And it's wonderful to be a maverick against the establishment and the media but it's another when you are against your own supporters and desperate Americans needing hope beyond ObamAA+.
I gave her until today. Waited for her since Obama won in 2008. But I need to look at someone who is running now. Not at just a possibility.
It's a shame. She has a wonderful message.
