I think that’s the first thing I can’t agree with Sarah Palin on. Well, maybe the second. She did endorse McCain.
What other choice did she have? Without John McCain choosing her for his VP, there wouldn't be a Sarah Palin; she'd still be an unknown. McCain's choosing her put her in the national spotlight for the first time, and in a BIG way. I love her politics and her strength, but before McCain chose her I never even heard of her, and neither did most other non Alaskans. If she didn't support McCain it likely would have ruined her career, she would have been painted as an ungrateful, back-stabbing, selfish politician, and she knew it. Rejecting the man who made her a national commodity just woudn't have set well with people, and the driveby media would have never let anyone forget her "ungratefulness" to the man who helped bring her the fame she now enjoys.
