Well, she supported someone like McCain...
As for Mitt Romney, I'm from Massachusetts and I liked him, a lot. He was always fighting the 95% Democrat legislature, and sometimes winning. He really does have Presidential ability, through and through. I never could understand his connection to what is now known as "Romney care", he simply wasn't a RINO in the mold of a John McCain or Olympia Snow and the others. Economically, he's more like a Ronald Reagan, so it is puzzling. I'm no expert on politics by any means, but I do know this: Romney was pitted against a 95% leftist Legislature, and a 100% radical, liberal Mass. Supreme Court. Between the High Court and the Legislature, there really wasn't a thing he could have done to stop the Massachusetts health care bill. Some say his involvement in signing that bad bill ensured that some of the most atrocious elements of the bill were taken out through his participation and negotiations with the liberals.
So personally, I really wish he just washed his hands of the thing and let it pass through the Mass. Supreme Court. BUT, if he did that it would have helped him politically, while allowing Massachusetts health care to become even more repressive and atrocious than it is now. In any case, he'd be an infinately better leader than Hussein Obama, and also better than some of the current Republican candidates. My personal choice is a Bachman/Santorum duo, in any order. Or a Palin/Pawlenty, also in any combination. But the best will survive and the weaker ones will be eliminated over time, and we'll just have to wait and see.
May God bless America with good leaders, of Christian morals and values, strong character, a love of our Constitution, a strong backbone, and a sincere desire to save our country from ruin. And may God will it to happen.
