Palin: “Could I Support Somebody Like Mitt Romney? Yeah”…

DES MOINES, Iowa — 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin said Friday that she still hasn’t decided if she’s going to run for president. Palin is also undecided about whom she would endorse if she ultimately decided against entering the race.

Swarmed by media and supporters at the Iowa State Fair, the former governor of Alaska told The Daily Caller that she’s not concerned that Mitt Romney is considered the frontrunner at this time.

“No, nothing worries me at this point,” Palin told TheDC. “Could I support somebody like Mitt Romney? Yeah.”

When TheDC pointed out that some tea partiers have pledged to make sure Romney doesn’t get the nomination, Palin said, “I’m of the mind of ABO — Anybody But Obama, at this time.”

This certainly isn’t the first headline that has been written to be provacative. Hopefully, we are still allowed to be provacative here.

The word provocative comes from the word "provoke", so even if you may pronounce it pro-vah-ka-tev, it doesn't mean you spell it with an 'a'.

I guess by chiding you I am in a sense being provocative.

We have spell-check, so of course I never use it, because that would be cheating.

LOL Again, your argument is a red herring.

YOU making excuses for Palin’s dumb remark about supporting Romney is the issue. My exposing your idiocy is par for the course. Carry on.

Oh, well don't worry then. I'm not mocking JimRob. I'm mocking childish tattletales who feel like they have to "tell on" other people to JimRob

I'm curious. When did Jim Robinson start going by 'JimRob'?

TQC, just so you understand, I am not 'tattling' by pinging Jim; I am doing so as a courtesy because he has been mentioned in the discussion.

It has been going on for a week now. The heckler incident, which I think was predetermined and choreographed on both sides, to the flood of vapid media pieces praising Romney from both leftist and alleged conservative media sources, and the simulated terror on the left of a mighty Romney juggernaut.

Romney is a political analog to Ted Bundy. The smile is fake, he means to please himself at your expense - do NOT get in the car with him.

If the choice boils down to Obama and Romney, I am voting for Mark Levin’s famous empty orange juice can. That, and getting ready for the fall.

I'm making my way through this thread and just had to comment on your post. You are very perceptive (first paragraph); that's a great analogy (second one); I'm going to have to start listening to Mark Levin on occasion again (third). =o)

And that's always the best kind of opponent to have, right GB?

How dare you imply I had anything to do with the late Misseur ejdrapes' (esquire) demise!!!

I would expect such fowl accusations in a back water aluminum manufacturing district but not here on Free Republic!

So you want to know what happened to ejdrapes (esquire, BSC, SSC)? I'll tell you what happened! It was that miscreant Col Mustard! He was never quite right after the Cheddar campaign against the Moose Division! After that dirty war, he spent the better part of his time staring off into space, contemplating rug and room deodorizers and cursing midgets.

On that tragic morning, I begged Col Mustard not to do it; I fell to the floor and wept! The Colonel couldn't hear me. He was focused on "Carpet Fresh."

He slowly entered the conservatory, he stealthily closed in on hapless, gin addled ejdrapes (esquire, eieio) and pulverized the poor guy's tiny skull.

Why Colonel? Why did you have to whack him with the pipe wrench? If you had only used the candlestick, I would have won the game! And why did ejdrapes (esquire, OU812) have to be a midget?

The entire incident has left me exhausted and quite vexed. Everyone, please run along. I need to be alone for awhile.

Not when it is a Meme made by TrewBlewRino circa the “Waaaaaaaah, FR doesn’t Support Homosexuals” whine fest.
But you knew that already, didn’t you.

Um, yeah...okay...whatever.

I just know that *I* was nowhere near the place and he was like that when I found him.

Now...how do ~I~ go about getting PAID to troll forums?

I have lots of spare time but not much spare cash.

Sounds like a win/win, to me.

;D

What about ABO don’t you understand? 99.9 percent of us would do the same thing ... not happily but ABO.

Hey tsowellfan, this is excerpted from altura's post to you. That's post #568. There's no need to freak out or anything. I'm not attributing this text to you so just relax and take a deep breath.

Hey altura, sorry about that but tsowellfan is a bit of a spaz. He also seems quite paranoid and might have issues with flatulence.

As long as you keep saying that you'll vote for RINOs, Karl "Turd Blossom" Rove and the rest of the GOP elite will keep giving us RINOs.

Screw that.

Decide now if you want a RINO candidate or not. If you don't want a RINO candidate stop saying you'll vote for one. If we want a candidate who represents us, we need to make it damn clear to the Republican Party.

I will never, ever vote for another damned RINO!

Oh no...not TrewBlew again.

If not for FR, they’d have no motive to exist.

Between “lifting” articles and threads and then summarily bitching & whining about the FReepers who post to those articles and threads, the place would be a cyber ghost town.

“Well! We’ve been thrown out of THAT forum so we’ll start our OWN forum where all we do is gripe about THAT forum!”

A total circle jerk and waste of perfectly good electrons.

“LOL. Again, your argument is a red herring.”

You seem to be obsessed with the term red herring.

“Red Herring” a passe term that most folks would like to dispense with - bringing to mind smelly fish. A pretentious saying that only pundits and a-holes use.
As in - “He brought up the term “red herring” in a conversation and his entourage looked at one another like he had leprosy.”

It’s been fun, but I guess you missed the part of the flame war where the “remark” was debunked anyway, and many PDSers were exposed for the fools they are. But, Dude, you seriously need to move on past the Reagan thing and start living in the present.

I hope the mods and JR will put a stop to the PDS crap. It’s getting totally out of control.

Good grief, if she said it and it is not misquoted, deal with it.

I'm curious. When did Jim Robinson start going by 'JimRob'?

I use that because most everyone else I've seen on FR uses it, presumably since it's faster to type.

I've submitted to peer pressure, I guess.
