Palin: “Could I Support Somebody Like Mitt Romney? Yeah”…

DES MOINES, Iowa — 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin said Friday that she still hasn’t decided if she’s going to run for president. Palin is also undecided about whom she would endorse if she ultimately decided against entering the race.

Swarmed by media and supporters at the Iowa State Fair, the former governor of Alaska told The Daily Caller that she’s not concerned that Mitt Romney is considered the frontrunner at this time.

“No, nothing worries me at this point,” Palin told TheDC. “Could I support somebody like Mitt Romney? Yeah.”

When TheDC pointed out that some tea partiers have pledged to make sure Romney doesn’t get the nomination, Palin said, “I’m of the mind of ABO — Anybody But Obama, at this time.”

This is a funny thread. Do you all not remember what Palin said last year about Mitt? This was a FReeper thread then as well.

“Palin says a Romney-Palin ticket “sounds pretty good”

For those who think Palin has ideological purity and is in lock step with all true Conservatives, think again. Pretending she is someone whom she is not will only bring disappointment in the end.

I agree with Palin today... anyone but Obama. It will be interesting to see what Perry brings to the table.

Mencius’ interpretation of Confucianism held that the common people had the right to overthrow and even kill rulers who ruled harshly, since that ruler was no longer fulfulling his right role in his position. Further, he held that rulers must justify their position by demonstrating a willingness to show benevolence towards and work for the good of the common people, if he is to expect that respect to be returned by the people.

Hear that? That’s the sound of your true greatness. Huh? No, I didn’t hear anything either.

There are none so blind as those who will not hear.

I was trying to explain what I got out of reading, not stating that I think it is what is right. I will not vote for a rock over Obama, but I am not a politician running for office.

Will you please explain to tsowellfan that the quote was yours and I wasn't trying to put words in his "mouth?" He doesn't seem to have a good grasp on this "interweb thingy."

Is it really necessary to say those were my words and that I was quoting what gets thrown at me on FR all the time when I question support for some of those rocks?

Maybe that's why I stooped to have a conversation with you?

That's strange. When you stooped down, you were clearly digging in the gutter and retrieving a quarter. Now that you can afford a bottle of "Night Train" we will be spared your presence, until you finish your current bender.

Titus, if FReepers see someone spouting a lot of zottable nonsense, there is nothing wrong with their telling Jim or Admin Moderator.

It is still up to Jim or the mods to zot or not to zot.

It’s sad if the zottee was a friend of yours, but there are some things that are not tolerated here. They’re not tolerated because the owner of the site rightly believes that they’re destructive to our country, or since this is an open forum, that they might give political ammo to the enemy.

You’re not mocking JimRob? Well, that’s good, but you might not want to mock anybody, don’t you think?

Apparently, yes.

I wonder if tsowellfan has any comment concerning these recent developments?

>>> “Godot”?

Waiting for Godot is an absurdist play by Samuel Beckett, in which two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, wait endlessly and in vain for someone named Godot to arrive.
