Friends of ours who have an organized troop-support activity went to DC to be interviewed by Mrs. Obama’s “Joining Forces” people. One of the first things they were asked was, “Are you a member of the Tea Party?”
When they said they were not, but knew people who were, they were shunted off to the side and received no further productive interaction.
this is astounding but not surprising
