Very impressive when you consider that the unions dumped upwards of $30 million into these races; on our side, Tea Party activists gave what they could, but there was almost nothing from the national GOP. Once again, the good people of Wisconsin (and the Tea Party) have defeated the union thugs (and their campaign dollars) on a shoe string.
If the Dims had triumped, this would have been hailed as the end of the Tea Party. Now, watch how this story is buried in the back pages of tomorrow’s newspapers. I can already predict the narrative; the Republicans who won were incumbents and had a natural advantage.
That $30 million dollar loss is sure going to hurt the union leaderships perks. I suspect members dues might be going up soon, for their own good, of course.
