It's not official yet, but when I went to vote today I was asked if I would
like to show a photo Identification and sign next to my name on the voter list.
I was very pleased to do so. Next election I will be required to show
identification and sign next to my name. I expect absentee voting scams to
continue though.

Here in NJ our signature comparison is the only proof we need, unless signatures do not reasonably match. Is that how it has been?
