The Democrat claimed victory with a preliminary margin of 240 votes. But when the Brookfield votes came in, the resulting margin of over 7,000 votes was enough to demand recounts and investigations and all the rest.
A recount was not needed when a Democrat had a 240 vote lead, but was needed when the Republican had a 7,000 vote lead. How the heck does that make any sense? These Democrats are shameless. See if they cook up something like that again in these elections.
