Assuming that each of the precincts has an equal number of voters, and assuming that the remaining Milwaukee precincts vote in the same percentages that the reporting precincts voted, I don’t think that Pasch could overtake Darling’s lead.
Then again, I don’t want to jinx anything, so I’ll just finish by saying that I’m probably wrong.
That means the Dems are doing it somewhere.
The remaining votes have to break over 60-40 for the Democrat from the AP results. With 4 (from the AP results) precincts outside of Milwaukee County, that isn’t likely to happen and with some parts of Milwaukee slightly favorable towards her, she’s pretty much got this one in the bag.
The left loves accusing the other side of tampering with votes when its really them who have been screwing with elections for years
LOL!
That last backward crooked somersault—or whatever you want to call it—looked almost painful.
Don’t hurt yourself! ;^)
Thanks, great to hear!
It looks hopeful, but it’s too close for comfort. I wish the precincts were reporting more quickly.
One of my best friends went absolutely crazy after Walker won the election. He’s turned into a complete monomaniacal freak who can’t talk about anything except how evil Scott Walker is.
It’s sad watching people get like this.
Back of the envelope math- I give Darling the win by 1500.
Very interesting..but but, I thought the left is all about peace and happiness..not about hate..yeah right..the left are nothing more then a bunch of thugs
SykesCharlie Charles Sykes Darling wins. Brewers win. GOP holds senate. It's good to be a cheesehead.
Democrats are very stupid these days. Attack the very foundation that gives you freedom should be their mantra.
But what about Darling’s war record....
It’s over. The 12 remaining Milwaukee precincts will only net Pasch 2,600 votes - not enough to overcome Darling.
“The left loves accusing the other side of tampering with votes when its really them who have been screwing with elections for years”
That very tactic is in Rules for Radicals. Accuse the other side of your wrongdoing.
NoelSheppard Noel Sheppard by SykesCharlie .@WeGotEd Schultz is not smiling. It looks like Darling is going to win. Turn on MSNBC to see some very unhappy faces.
For the record:
State Senate - District 8 - General
August 09, 2011 - 11:21PM CT
Wisconsin - 66 of 82 Precincts Reporting - 80%
Name Party Votes Vote %
Darling , Alberta (i) GOP 31,404 53%
Pasch , Sandra Dem 28,296 47%
I tend to agree, particularly as there are still 3 precincts to go in Ozaukee
