Did someone mention “beer”?
You’ve got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
And latch on to the affirmative
Don’t mess with Mister In-Between
So, overall, it looks like a big win for the GOP tonight!
The unions unloaded all their big guns on us, and we survived. Their power in Wisconsin has been dramatically curtailed.
S. Pasch(Dem) A. Darling (i)(GOP)
Total 55/82 23,451 52% 21,713 48%
Milwaukee 39/51 18,579 65% 10,088 35%
Ozaukee 6/11 1,785 35% 3,273 65%
Washington 9/9 2,88727% 7,955 73%
Waukesha 1/11 200 34% 397 66%
This one is going to be close.
I understand why some folks chose not to vote for him and I don’t hold it against them. You are right, it is Hopper who deserves the to be tarred and feathered.
All precincts in, Hopper OUT.
3 Definite GOP wins...
1 Definite Dem win...
1 Strongly Likely Dem win...
1 race undecided...
I can tell you’re worried Kansas Girl, but the good news is it looks like Darling won, you’re looking at earlier numbers. That would be 4 seats to 2 for the GOP. Feel Better!
So can somebody update me on the Dem Recalls up next.
When is that recall election?
How many elections total?
How many D’s truly at risk—I hear Holperin is one...Anybody else..
thanks
Sorry, 559
3 GOP wins, 2 Dem wins, and 1 still not over that everyone keeps saying the GOP will win (even though everything I see shows us trailing in).
Good riddance.
Hopper lost:
State Senate - District 18 - General
August 09, 2011 - 10:40PM CT
Wisconsin - 108 of 108 Precincts Reporting - 100%
Name Party Votes Vote %
King , Jessica Dem 28,188 51%
Hopper , Randy (i) GOP 26,937 49%
Can you get off Hopper’s back? The guy’s private life affected the race, but jeez. Too much hyperbole here. This place is becoming nuts. Do any of you realize how much money has been poured in here? Hopper won by a whisker last time and had no marital issues dogging him. Kapanke won luckily in a democrat district and Darling is in a tough district that isn’t easy for a Republican to win. So let’s just hope we win and skip taking shots at people?
Lol.. I turned on MSNBC... They are already getting worked up over Waukesha County.. I wanna see heads explode.
I sure wish I had some of those! If I were you, I’d dig on in!
shoulda kept it in his pants.
Nutella..straight. Chased by a few almond crackers. Gotta have some salt after my chocolate!
Bump.
