The police sound fearful of doing anything—as if it is more desirable to avoid possibly inflicting some damage on a looter than to protect innocent people and their property.
If you watch the videos, you’ll see that you’re right. They will knock them down, but I didn’t see any cops even hitting any of the rioters on the head.
