They are rioting CAUSED BY police gunning down someone the police were chasing. The police abused their power and authority by summarily executing without a trial someone they wanted to arrest
“Caused by” does not equal permission to or imply legality to the riot
Government is its own worst enemy when it doesn’t follow its own rules or recognize its legitimacy is predicated upon CONSENT FROM THE GOVERNED
Did y’all have a civics class in school? Or maybe the schools weren’t teaching it any more. I know you have to old like I am to have received certain classes in school, but I am stunned by people’s comments.
Do we really want Ohio State all over again? I don’t understand why the commenters here don’t understand the difference between a representative form of government, like in England and here and a dictatorship like in Syria and Iran
I read there was an exchange of fire between the cops and the man in the car. Did you read something different?
Mark Duggan is reported as being the leader of a gang of crack dealers tied to the Jamaican "Yardies" gangs. Read the article. The world is better off without him.
The police abused their power and authority by summarily executing without a trial someone they wanted to arrestAnd you KNOW this is true because you were THERE, right? You WITNESSED it.
No. The fact is, you know NOTHING. All you KNOW is that there are riots and that innocent people are losing lots of property (at the risk of their lives). That's the only thing you KNOW. The rest is all Bullsh*t conjecture. Bullsh*t conjecture that you are more than happy to buy into.
Are you saying that the man who was shot did NOT fire a weapon at a police officer? Because all of the reportage I’ve had a chance to look at said the dead guy fired a gun at an undercover officer, with the bullet lodging in the LEO’s car. Was that reporting incorrect?
You seem to postulate that all of these wannabees somehow were “injured” by a shooting on a thug who yes has his rights and if they were violated it goes to the laws to be dealt with. Not several thousand idiots to go and break into shops and stores to show their anger. What in your twisted logic accomodates their “injury” to visit it upon innocent people who did not fire the gun or participate in the action in the first place.
Ohio State (I think you meant Kent State, maybe you were just misinformed) the “students” did this as a movement to show they were in control, once they took the building they asked each other. The National Guard abused their rights and should have been prosecuted for it.
Anarchy in any form is not allowable, it is our right to overthrow a government which has become tyrannical and the framers knew it, and tyranny can take other forms like creating an environment where the “governed” think they are entitled to harm others as they damned well please because they are somehow entitled to take anothers denial as their own.
