*Black* in Britain is not African descent. It refers more to middle easterners.
My son has some British friends on other internet forums and tells me that the Brits HATE the muslims. If these are muslims rioting, while the country will technically not do much, I wouldn't be surprised to find the people fighting back.
My report of Africans and Somalians comes from Americans who have seen video of the riots and heard reports ... (don’t really know for sure)... Also - considering the Radical Islamic situation in England and the rest of the U.K., it would seem quite realistic to suspect radical Muslims to be involved - ready willing and able to fan the flames... regardless of the original situation.
In current news parlance, it means Afro-Carribeans. There are also white participants from the welfare suburbs. The English Defense League has made no statement - has not said a word - about the riots, and as they are the premier anti-Muslim organisation, that seems to indicate it is a British colored underclass phenomenon.
Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Black in Britain means Afro-Caribbean. The majority of black Britons descend from the immigration of the 1950’s/60’s.
“*Black* in Britain is not African descent. It refers more to middle easterners.”
In this case, “black” means “black”. The riots started in the afro-Caribbean community.
Then it has spread to other immigrant groups, plus white organized leftists getting in on the action.
