Completely agree...Republicans have to start “speaking truth to power†as the libs say. We need to balance the budget NOW not 10 years from now. Start with what I call the “5% Planâ€. Cut the number of Federal employee by 5% per quarter until we reduced the total number by 40% At the same time we cut their outsized salaries by 5% per quarter until they are 10% below comparable private salaries, say 30%. Then we’ll really see who wants to “serve†the Obama administration and Federal government out of their “big heartsâ€.
My plan is to say we need to cut spending to Clinton era levels. Afterall, isn’t that what Rats have declared the age of prosperity before that evil Bush destroyed it all! Then we can compromise and say we’ll agree to just cutting spending to pre-Obama levels.
