No, it was a typo. Please compare this to the rest of what I posted.

But you forget that Clinton had a responsible Republican House who forced Clinton to the right of center.

The same Republican controlled House totally blew the budget when Bush was elected.

67% does not equal 97%.

The down grade is based on a long term trajectory. I do not support deficit spending, but the Bush trajectory is NOTHING compared to the Obama trajectory which is why S&P downgraded the US.

It annoys me when everyone beats up on deficit spending of Reagan, Bush 1 and Bush 2. All of our entitlement spending was non-funded. This entitlement spending started under FDR.
