These are choices these woman made somewhere along the line. But from what I understand of abused woman they have little understanding of what choice actually is. They generally know only apppeasement to keep the peace as long as possible.
Additionally woman have a need for a sense of security in these cults.....coupled with their indoctrinations it’s a win win for the men...at least the older men. Praise God! You ‘get it’. I get so tired of people on FR who don’t and think this is part of the LDS past.
The doctrines haven’t changed, just the practice is limited and then only to a degree.
