Surprise surprise. Welcome to the suburbs city slickers.
Interesting number, but the problem is lack of unity and the unawareness of going into Republicaqn primaries to clean out such useless members as Boehner, Cantor et al. And of course Myth Romney too.
To John Kerry: How do you like those LEGITIMATE apples?
We as Americans have had enough of the pure crap that is coming out of Washington. The last time I checked, the Federal government works for us, no the other way around. Let’s make something perfectly clear to all of the aspiring politicians out there, the United States Constitution clearly delineates exactly what you are responsible for in executing your duties as a public servant holding office. If such a politician decides to promote their self interests over the people who have employed (elected) them, then the said people reserve the right to kick their sorry asses to the curb.
You are so right, and if you have been to the East Coast, you can feel the presence of an intractable overwhelming liberal bloc of voters from Norfolk, VA, to Boston, with only a few suburban interruptions. It’s the same from Seattle to Los Angeles too, and from Duluth to Pittsburgh. That’s quite a bit of liberal territory to defeat.
Ahhhh. It would be interesting to go back and see what sort of anti-Tea-Party stories were dominating the news on July 27 and August 2.
August 2nd was probably the day The Tea Party was being bashed for preventing a budget deal from being passed (even though they were numerically incapable of stopping it).
But, in the three or four days AFTER the budget deal was passed, it was said The Tea Party won a great victory.
So it makes sense that whoever commissioned this poll wouldn't want THAT sort of sentiment revealed in the results.
God I hope so! We need to start ‘flash’ mobbing them for once.
I would like to see how the questions were worded.
YES WE CAN!!!!
Notice how the percentage of Tea Party supporters drop after a media blitz demonizing them. Some people are still sensitive to other’s opinions of them, no matter how false. I believe that the 30% figure supporting Tea Party values is still there, many are just afraid to admit it publicly.
Yes, there are millions of folks out there who believe and think like the tea party, but don’t realize it yet, because they just don’t pay that much attention to current events.
But I wish the “tea party’ would change their name, because they are not a political party. The media is perpetuating the notion that they are some wild, crazy bunch of wierdos, when in fact they are perfectly normal, hard working people.
And it would be much higher if not for the MSM’s propaganda blitz...
+1...they didn’t count me.
Boston is the worst. Those people have truly diseased minds.
Maybe America's only hope.
Good news! I was on the fence regarding actually joining in. NO MORE! Count me as one of you from here on out!
thank you. good to know
