(Reuters) - President Barack Obama turned his 50th birthday into a 2012 campaign fundraising bonanza on Wednesday, buoyed by a hometown crowd after what he called a frustrating period locked in a debt battle with Republicans.
Obama made clear in remarks to a big audience at a music auditorium and in a videoconference with supporters scattered across the country that he will now focus on trying to spur job growth now that the debt debate is behind him.

And while the President campaigns on the north side of Chicago, in his south side stomping grounds of his community organizing days and just a few miles from his Chicago home, 5 black males have been shot in the war zone that is Chicago’s south side. 42nd and State, 67th and Loomis, 67th and Ada, 68th and Bishop, Laramie and Van Buren. Just in the course of his dinner stop here in the windy city. Yes they can....
And all of them were under 20 years old
Obama’s ‘Birthday’ Bash is being run like a Capone/Chicago Capo Mobster party. Just leave your Pay-To-Play checks in the plate as you leave...
AND YET, NONE DARE CALL IT FASCISM...
Every waking moment is a plot to use other peoples money to gain more power and control.
Sometimes the jokes just write themselves.
LOL! Priceless.
I hope he has as much fun with his recommended proctologist appointment as we have had the last 2.5 years.
Where have I head that before and why hasn't their been any job growth. Don't worry, he will get to it, right after his weekly vacation.
That is the logical conclusion isnt it, that Marxists who KNOW IT ALL will upon the sheeple?
What is so mystifying is that there were wealthy folks at that birthday. Don’t they know that the Obama Regime is the antithesis of Capitalism? Are they that isolated that they can’t see who they are dealing with?
He was part of the Senate controlled by Demonrats before moving on to the presidency with total control of Congress where he rammed through everything he wanted and that sham of a stimulus that made things worse. Palin will not let him get away with this.
They aren’t buying it anymore. He’s now down to his core rich supporters in his “hometown”.
I’m guessing that the turnout tonight was a disappointment, too.
They want to crash the system, make it a select group of rulers (socialist burgoisoise including themselves at the top as benevolent, privileged overseers, better than everybody else. BHO and his wife typify this attitude in their cavalier vacations and spending while so many fellow Americans suffer) and looking over the masses. This is no different than wealthy supporters of “national liberation” movements elsewhere. What they dont realize that staging these kinds of Marxist revolutions and evolutions and reordering society, they are liable to be thrown out on their asses as well and have THEIR goods and monies confiscated for the “common good”. Kind of like how NOW looks the other way when it comes to Islamic oppression of women, totally devoid of all reason, like a turkey lobbying for Thanksgiving. These intelligentsia dolts really are playing with Red Communist fire when the play with Socialism and Socialists (like BHO). But then again, they are idiots and they are blinded. Part of this is evident in Hollywierd and Big Media...white guilt complex goes to explain a lot of it, too.
What, again?
He probably had to work overtime and then some to get that many people into the auditorium. Unrelenting phone calls, e-mails, letters and texts to bring family & friends.
He probably spent more time organizing that party than he did handling the debt crisis.
Just heard him on the news this morning saying.
“We didn’t realize until just last week how bad the economy was back in 2008.”
(A politician getting money does not make the money into a contribution.)
He is taking bribes right and left. The money is going to him directly. He is accepting it with his own soiled hands. He is a criminal.
Well,it’s really his un-birthday but we can’t question the One.
So true.
That is what is coming, folks, if we do not succeed in stopping this revolution.
