Not enough light has been cast on the purpose of the Labor party camp, although the NYT obliquely references it by saying many attendants go on to assume leadership positions in the Labor party. The camp's purposes are; indoctrination; talent spotting; fast tracking the talent, and culling the herd of the non-doctrinaire thinkers.
