NO offense taken - I am glad Sionnsar left a legacy of peace and trust. He really loved the Persian people. He grieved over what was becoming of our country. He really longed for freedom in the truest sense of that word. He has found it in the loving arms of his Lord. There are days I long to join him there.

I know, but it’s not your time. You still have God’s work to do.

You know Sion will be there for you when your time comes.

Please spend more time with us on this thread LoM. We miss saying in touch with your family.

As you know, I have poems for all occasions. Even for occasions when there are no occasions.

Here's one I wrote a while ago, on a kinda similar occasion.

Waiting in the Wings

Their life, that is in you, listens.
Their life, that is in you, hears.
Your life may seem drowning in sorrows,
Their life, is beyond any tears.

His smile is a shining remembrance,
His touch will forever, hold.
His will is that you should continue,
As each of you grows to be old.

His visage will fade only slightly,
As wear and tear takes its toll.
His words you’ll remember in fondness,
They’ll be prompting the lines for your role.

Her words will be singing forever,
Her presence will seem to be near.
She will be guiding and smiling,
And helping your joy to appear.

The parted are not so departed,
You can feel their connection to you.
Remember the good ways you journeyed,
And remember the bad times were few.

Their life, that is in you, listens.
Their life, that is in you, hears.
They’re waiting in wings for your solo,
And waiting to greet you with cheers.
