The U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills because it’s buying too much. Stop the spending.
Seems this shouldn’t be too difficult to understand.
BTW-It’s laughable to hear talking head tell everyone we can’t pay social security payments or government workers. If that were the case, then in truth we have to borrow to provide the basic necessities.

What makes you think the government is not already borrowing for basic necessities ?
Remember Al Gore during the Clinton administration saying that the Social Security funds are in a " LOCK BOX " safe and sound so that government can't touch it ? .... well that was all a lie.
Can we actually trust government saying that they haven't touched the Social Security funds to use for government general purpose ?
What makes us think that the government is not already borrowing for basic necessities ?
What makes us think that the government's fiscal troubles are not worse then what we already know ?
