The House needs to just start working on a bill prioritizing spending under the current debt limit.

A superb idea and plan of action.

Has anyone ever asked themselves, ‘Why do I have to keep calling my representatives so they vote on the right side of the issue’? If I have to spend my time doing this than maybe I have the wrong person representing me.

Thanks. That’s a great point about the Senate not being able to add taxes.
What about the time frame? In other words, the effort by the Dems to push the new debt ceiling beyond the election?
I suppose they can add a couple trillion to the proposed ceiling—to the proposed ceiling, not to any taxes—and that would get them through next fall, right?

Sniff, sniff. I smell RINOs. I want names. I would guess 2 from Maine, one from Massachusetts, one or two from Arizona and then 1 or 2 from the northeast.

It won’t happen. The Chicago-way congress and prez already fired a shot across Moody’s bow. They folded.

The Boehner bill was horrible. Stick to CCB and force Obama to come up with his own joke of a bill.

Sens. Jim DeMint (S.C.), Lindsey Graham (S.C.), Orrin Hatch (Utah), Mike Lee (Utah), Rand Paul (Ky.), and David Vitter (La.) DeMint and Rand are good guys and probably voted against it because it was a bad bill and the debt limit shouldn't be increased. Grahamnesty is a long time back stabber. I don't know about the other three.

Does anyone remember what those days were like. It was so different back then that people today wouldn’t believe it could be true.

CC&B or BUST!!!
Keep sending it and nothing else and don't let nothing from the Senate see the light of day in the House.
I think after all this, the veteran House Republicans will have no choice but to become Tea Party just to survive.
They and Boehner just showed how gullible and incompetent they truly are.
Now it's on!

Citizens can still embrace individualism and liberty. The defect is with the government, the people are free to reject the government.

THEY are trying to get enough votes in the senate to reconsider the original CCB bill that was tabled without debate. Don’t jump to conclusions. These guys are hanging tough on principle. Isn’t that exactly what everybody on all these threads is bitching and moaning about???
