Sarah Palin issues a warning to GOP before debt vote
LA Times ^ | 7-28-11 | Michael A. Memoli

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin weighed in on the debt ceiling debate on social media just hours before a key House vote. (Twitter)

*snip*

In a post on her Facebook page from "proverbial politico flyover country," the former Alaska governor reprinted a letter she sent to newly elected members last fall, emphasizing the need to "rein in out-of-control government spending" and "check the growth of spending on our entitlement programs."

"I respectfully ask these GOP Freshman to re-read this letter and remember us 'little people' who believed in them, donated to their campaigns, spent hours tirelessly volunteering for them, and trusted them with our votes. This new wave of public servants may recall that they were sent to D.C. for such a time as this," Palin wrote.

West is better on the attack.
He doesn’t sugar-coat it.

We can’t win without it. Not peacefully. The Dems win. The Media wins. And Obama does. But, hey, listen, its OK . . . someday, when the violent and bloody overthrow of Obamaland occurs, I’ll be with you at the barricades.

Not sure, but I believe she wrote that before any vote taking. She’s firing ‘em up, asking them to hold firm, but they sure are getting punished by everyone .. from BOR, to McLame to Laura Ingraham .. Laura really surprised me.

The talking point du jour is: you can’t change things when you only control 1/2 of 1/3 of the govt. That’s everywhere.

Your bill that u love will pass tomorrow. However, Dingy Harry is about to play u. He will water it down and send it back over to Bonehead. What’s Boneheads plan then? Get the RATS to help pass it?

Better to have left the CCB Bill in Harrys Court.

No, its not foolish at all. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. And half a loaf is better than none. It’s about power, not principle. It’s about 2012, without which we are all doomed.

I don’t want her to run. She’s so good in this tag team role, let someone else run and let Sarah keep attacking from the sideline.
///
i keep seeing that, and:

I can live with the Boehner plan because it puts the whole debate back in play during an election year — and it gives us more time to pitch BBA to the rest of the nation. I can live with delaying the ultimate goal until Boehner part 2 comes about because it really puts the screws to Obama.”

and that if the Boehner plan is defeated:

“any shot we had of taking over the senate and getting Obama out will be out the window.”

///
1) what makes you think, she can’t do even MORE, as President? if you honestly LIKE what she’s doing and saying, why wouldn’t you support her being in a position to do and say MORE, and be heard by MORE Americans???

2) all the people pushing the Boehner plan, don’t understand, that if Obama spends another 2 TRILLION,
and kills our debt rating, that we a) WON’T win in 2012,
partly because the Tea Party will stay home if they are betrayed now 2) even if we DO win, the economy will be so in debt, that dealing with the SAME issues we have now, will be 10 times harder.

Levin pointed out that controlling one arm of a 3rd of government was not sufficient.

I think why Tea Party reps are holding strong is, for the first time ever, the 95% calls to their office supporting real cuts is getting their attention. Before, calls didn’t matter, repubs would just moderate and agree to alternate the bad voter votes. The hold outs are true heros, what happened to Allen West?????

Let’s take this to the voters. They were behind cut, cap, and balance. Let’s expose the lies and refuse to capitulate.

Opposed to the Boehner Plan:

Mark Levin
Sarah Palin
Rush Limbaugh
Jim Jordan
Heritage Foundation

For the Boehner Plan:

John McLame
The Weakling Standard
Wall Street Journal
Bill O’Reilly

Who’s company would you rather be in? It’s not even hard for me to decide on that count.

Don’t get personal, or presume. I don’t love the bill at all. I just think it puts the Republican Party in a better position to say that they have done all they can, while the Dems have done nothing. THEN, the Dems let things fall apart at their own peril. Nothing bad will be cobbled together, nothing that would pass the House. And there isn’t time. The Dems either sign on, or they take responsibility for the consequences of inaction. It could doom them.

No, I think Mark is screaming for rebellion from the masses.
He seems very frustrated with our lack of power and he is certainly disgusted with the lack of will.
