I don’t remember being so ashamed of the Republican party in a long time... the lack of any respect for others, like John Boehner, is appalling.

I think I have had it, and I will be registering as Independent as soon as I can...

Tea party backers — why don’t you form your own political party? You are an embarassment to may Republicans.

****

Bonehead was selected as Speaker. He is not a king, omnipotent, or infallible. Enjoy being an “Independent.” Maybe you can get someone from the media to like you. Of course, your more prudent strategy would be to stay a Republican and simply attack Tea Partiers. That will win the hearts and minds of those dearest to you.

Yes, it was the Tea Party calling Republicans Hobbits. Soooo disrespectful right? Or telling them to get their “asses” in line...oh wait...!!!

For the record...Tea party members are responsible for the rise in Independent affiliation. They are ex-conservatives from the GOP tht promised to hold the GOP accountable. You clearly don’t have a clue. WE never agreed to serve Boehner. He was supposed to serve us. I don’t trust they won’t pass something this weekend but if Boehner emerges embarrassed and the fissure between us and the party grows...damn fine by me.The last thing I want is to be corrupted again by the crooks and liars in the party.

If enough Republicans that think that way did that, I just might drop my nonaligned status and join the GOP.

What did you think of the Obama-Boehner previous budget deal back in April 2011? Read the article below. He is either incompetent, easily misled or devious or some combination of each. Do you think this made him worthy of your respect? The Tea Party, on the other hand, is trying to preserve the solvency of the country and protect you and your children’s futures.

NATIONAL JOURNAL: A Congressional Budget Office analysis of the fiscal 2011 spending deal that Congress will vote on Thursday concludes that it would cut spending this year by less than one-tenth of what both Republicans or Democrats have claimed.

A comparison prepared by the CBO shows that the omnibus spending bill, advertised as containing some $38.5 billion in cuts, will only reduce federal outlays by $352 million below 2010 spending rates...The astonishing result, according to CBO, is the result of several factors: increases in spending, especially at the Defense Department; decisions to draw over half of the savings from recissions; and cuts to reserve funds and and money for mandatory-spending programs that might never have been spent.

Not true. Establishment Republicans are beyond embarrassment.

You do realize that the day of the Republican establishment is done, don’t you? Over. Either it is displaced and replaced by sincere representatives, or the GOP is utterly abandoned in the next few years. Either way, the day of the GOP nomenklatura is dead as dead can be. Dead as Vichy France. Dead as the Mensheviks. Dead as the Whigs. Dead, dead, dead.

The lack of respect for the American taxpayer is more appalling. Boehner and the zoo in Congress work for us.

You want respect...you give respect. You don’t steal people’s money like the Soc Sec program and spend it on every gluttonous program that you think will get you elected. We entrust these people with our lives and the lives of our families......the life and soul of our country hangs in the balance.

So you go join the dems or independents or whatever you need to...but, you won’t outrun what these politicians are doing to us.

As for the Tea Party, they aren’t going anywhere. This is just the beginning.
