Unless our goal is to collapse the whole system. Which, of course, has a lot of risk.
There is a lot of risk being in debt 14 trillion dollars. That will rise to 20-25 trillion over the next 8-10 years.
Try to imagine THAT number. Let alone 14 trillion.
That 14 trillion is only the what the US Government owes. The US itself owes 9 trillion, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae owe 6 trillion; state and local government, banks mortgages, credit cards; etc, etc and etc add up to about 52 trillion debt. It’s the compounded interest that killing us.
