I am a retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer, trust me, the Navy has much worse problems than this. They have been going down hill since they let women serve onboard ships. The only branch of the Navy that was doing well was the submarine service, but they are about to take a serious dive, when women start getting orders to serve in the fleet submarine force. God help us!
A good starting point would be to ensure that the Navy no longer accepts the mediocre sons of admirals into the Academy or the officer’s corps.
