"when just 10% of the population holds an unshakable belief, their belief will always be adopted by the majority of the society."
This makes no sense whatsoever. In many cases there are diametrically conflicting (contradictory) beliefs, each held by more than 10% of a society. This "research" tidbit would suggest that, for instance, we all simultaneously believe (or will come to believe) the "pro-choice" and "pro-life" positions on abortion are correct, since each has far more than 10% support as a truly "unshakeable" belief.

Like the NASA satellites confirmed, the Earth is not retaining excessive heat.
Rigged computer models vs Actual science
Which with the politicians choose?

Most of the climate change nitwits would not believe in the hoax. We have millions of insane that still believe the world is flat.

Which one will the politicians choose?
The rigged computer models, every time.
Actual science is HARD. Like arithmetic.

Thanks Kaslin.
Charles Monnett, the scientist who predicted that polar bears would drown from a lack of sea ice, "is being investigated for scientific misconduct, possibly over the veracity" of the article in which he makes that claim, the Associated Press reported Thursday. Monnett, a federal wildlife biologist with the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement, has been placed on leave pending the probe's outcome. After Monnett claimed that the deaths of four drowned polar bears foretold of an increase in deaths "in the future if the observed trend of regression of pack ice and/or longer open water periods continues," polar bears became an environmentalist icon. Al Gore, for instance, resorted to emotion-evoking polar bear images in his climate change movie "An Inconvenient Truth." The New York Times Dot Earth blogger called it "a wrenching scene."

And if more long wave radiation is leaving the planet, and the greenhouse effect is less of a factor, it means that changes in solar energy from the sun, are even a greater factor. Get prepared for the kind of Winter that the Southern Hemisphere is currently experiencing.
An area of Chile got 9 feet of snow in 4 days.
South Africa just experienced is greatest snow fall in 20 years.
Hundreds of skiers were trapped by snow in New Zealand.

Yet James Hansen continues his fraud unabated...
Why?
If there was ever a person on this planet that needed to have his license yanked, it would be Hansen.

Seems like Junk Science is subject to get more government funding than Real Science. However Real Science usually pays for itself. Junk Scientists would like to put an end to that.

This seems to be talking about assertions of factoids (like the polar bear meme) to which there isn’t any dug-in opposition.

I sure wish I knew how the figures touted by lefty medicine about the dangers of second hand smoke were cranked out. One would have to exclude first-hand smokers from the study, for one thing — it can’t be as simple as “have you lived with a smoker.” If all the first hand smokers who also lived with smokers are kept in, then you can understand why the disastrous health statistics for them.
That said, secondhand cigarette smoke is a known nuisance irritant and could cause severe or fatal episodes in asthmatics. But they would be unlikely to be living with smokers for any length of time; either the smokers would quit or switch to outside smoking for their sake, or the asthmatics would leave.

Will the Nobel Committee demand that Gore give up his prize? I think the better question is whether he'll be called before Congress to explain his Carbon Trading scam....

But then...only 10 percent of the Russian population were members of the Communist party. 2012 approaches. Elections will have consequences.
