According to Fox News, it’s the Texas delegation that is manning the last ramparts against the Boehner/Obama debt fiasco. They are being threatened by Boehner that this will end their political career, as if Texas voters are for more reckless government spending.

If you are a Texan, call or email your congressman NOW and tell them to stand firm for smaller government and freedom!!!

I’ve always found threatening someone I’m trying to win over to my point of view to be an effective tactic. ;p

I am a displaced Texan, exiled in CA.

There are only two GOP Nay-votes from TX right now: Ron Paul and Louie Gohmert. The rest are Yays or undecided.

Call Barton. Call Barton, Sam Johnson, Hensarling, and Pete Sessions and tell them to cut the crap.

Also, Floridians need to have a chat with the Good Col. Allan West. I think he’s drinking some bogus Kool-Aid.

I’m a Texan. Ron Paul is my Rep. (not by my choice, don’t judge lol)...anyways, I never have to call him on stuff like this, he ain’t budging. I don’t even check up on him. He’s that solid on this stuff....so that frees me up to bug other people’s reps....

Can we call more than our own representatives?

I called my congresswoman and then called another TX congressman’s office at which time I was asked me if I knew he really wasn’t my representative. I said “Yes, but I want to encourage him to vote no for the Boehner plan anyway. I want him to know what we all think.”

However, when I got that question, I did wonder if it was OK to call more than my own rep. Especially since Texas seems to be trying to hold out and they are getting even more pressure now, I, as a TEXAN, want to call whoever I can!

So, where's Rick Perry in all of this?

Smaller government = freedom which = capitalism and prosperity.

Bigger government = socialism = tyranny and poverty.

Democrats are for bigger government and socialism.

We need small, limited government with only a few laws including 2 laws that authorize the military and control illegal immigration and other things coming from other countries ( for example China).
