Sun News' Ezra Levant and John Lott discuss the horrible multiple victim public shooting in Norway.

There was even a cop assigned to the island as a security guard....
Unarmed. Now dead.
The second amendment was put there to secure a "free state". That 'state' is whatever state you find yourself in- a collapsed society or in the company of malcontents intent upon relieving you of your personal property.
For Norway, this is very tragic and everyone sympathizes with their loss. Children should not be shot-down in cold blood. Ever! Adults should not stand by with no way to protect their children. Ever!
Nature will not tolerate it. Try shooting at grizzly cubs sometime and see what happens. You'll be torn to shreds faster than lightning. Teeth and claws will appear out of nowhere and will rip at every part of your fiber. Bones will snap like toothpicks and gashes will appear on your body like a knife through putty. The power in a bite will equal all the force you've ever exerted on a vice times ten. Your chance of survival will approach zero, because you did the unthinkable- you attacked a grizzly cub.
As a people, we must not lose touch with our inner-grizzly, not for a second. Many of these children died as a result of society de-fanging it's adults and police. Nature has no place for such substitutes. The Circus might, but not the real world.
And for any who think the 2nd amendment couldn't have changed 9-11-2001, think again. They used box cutters. One or two CCW passengers could have prevented the tragedy not long after take-off. There are times when you need a grizzly and the last thing anyone needs is the state telling you 'when' you can. That's tyranny, that's deadly, and I repeat myself.
I like your logic.
The entire Chopper crew was on a two week summer vacation.
The killer had good gun control..
The real Keystone Cops. They had to borrow boats from the locals in order to get out to the island.
Norweigens want complete non involvement in all aspects of their lives and believe anyone and everyone who makes promises that sound good on the surface and might benefit them in one way or another.
They never look deep into a persons intentions and motivations (Take Hitler for example - They (many)loved him. They find it easier to think positive and never consider that anyone might possibly lie to them.
They are more than just Liberal (Progressive), they are naive Progressives who hope for the best but don’t demand guarantees and oversight. They just don’t want to get involved and believe in blind faith.
A better prospective here...is that Norway isn’t exactly like the state of Florida. If I understood a report correctly...there’s just one police chopper in Oslo...with one crew...so when they sent them on summer vacation...they all packed up for this two-week period and left.
As for police boats...this island is actually around twenty miles from Oslo and there’s apparently only one police boat around. It was considered extremely small and had a leak (don’t ask why). Adding to the mess...the local cops were told to hold up while this special task force (there’s only one in Oslo...twenty miles away) is driving to reach the dock area. Once they arrived...at least the locals were willing to loan their boats to get the SWAT guys out to the site.
All in all...you would consider Oslo an odd place. There are few murders each year. Juvenile crime is considered their biggest problem at present. There aren’t any mass increases in business or significant changes in real estate....like you notice in St Louis or Portland. Most folks draw up a calendar and can you precisely what they will be doing each week, and live a fairly dull life.
Up until the 1950s...Norway would have been considered one of the poorer countries of Europe...then oil and natural gas came to be found off-shore.
Q: What is the most dangerous place in the World, outside of being a Fetus in the Womb of a NOW Board Member?
A: A Gun Free Zone.
Gun Control always creates soft targets.
Libs just don’t get it...until they do get it. Then its to late.
Let’s phrase it another way that’s more fair:
What’s a bigger failure, Norway’s gun control laws or its immigration policies?
Norway has less first responder capability than the MGM grand hotel in Vegas.
I’m interested in the type of gun the killer used. Was it semi auto or auto? What caliber, ect. In a county where even cops have their guns locked up how did this guy get an auto? A witness said he used it in semi auto to save ammo inferring it was an automatic. The big question will be ,.... did the ATF OK the sale to him through Mexico?
What is there to respond to? Create dozens of brand new SWAT positions....buy three additional choppers....purchase two more PT-boat like vessels for the local cops? For something that may never occur again? Anders Breivik may likely be a once-in-a-hundred-years event. I doubt that they do anything other than tighten down on gun control.
I’ve spent six weeks of my life in Denmark, and it’s mostly the same way. These Nordic countries all have a pretty slow situation....rare violent crimes, very limited assaults, and nothing that really worries the locals.
When are they going to understand that “Gun Control” is the “Loss of Control over Guns”???
Norway’s laws are such that only crooks have guns: and their
keystone kops don’t carry guns and couldn’t even obtain
a large enough boat/helicopter to get over to the island!
