Very little aside from him being probably the most conservative congressman from the Great Lakes region. No idea why he's running; he has less name recognition than a local TV weatherman.
I had the John Batchelor show playing on my computer a few nights ago. I wasn’t paying much attention until this McCotter guy began speaking and then I found myself drawn in by what he was saying. He was talking about outsourcing, the loss of blue collar job opportunities, China’s opinion and military posture towards the US. A variety of things. He seemed well versed about his subjects, they weren’t talking points.
It surprised me to hear that he’s going to make a run for President, I’d never heard of him.
He won’t have a chance. He’s not a phony and he sounded like an intelligent adult. The leaders of the Stupid Party won’t allow a candidate like that when they can instead nominate some ambitious two faced “moderate” masquerading as a conservative.
