I wish Speaker Boehner would've quickly mentioned something about SS. It's what Dims will use to attack us. I've recapped several of the replies you've received and I'm emailing this info out to friends and family.
Yeah I really appreciate everyone answering my questions too. Math was never my thing LOL so all of this stuff about social security and whats going on is kind of confusing to me so I am glad that now I have a sorta better understanding of what is going on. Dems use everything as scare tactics, telling old people that their medicare will be taken away from them, telling people like my Mom that social security will be taken from them. I wish he would have mentioned something about social security too, that was the perfect opportunity to do it
No, if Boehner had mentioned SS all of the commentary would have dealt with that, and then BO would love to give another scare speech tomorrow.

If Obama keeps peddling the SS threat, Boehner will address it later in the week. In fact, the GOP would most likely put John McCain on all the morning shows, as seniors know him and trust him. He’s one of them.
