K I just told her, she said those who are under 55 who are getting social security are actually getting disability checks because they are disabled, is that true? People who are disabled and receive SS who are under 55 years old will be “grandfathered” from any changes. Their payments will not be affected or harmed. I know this because my brother in law is legitimately disabled and on SS disability.
The changes contemplated for SS are for NEW enrollees who are currently under 55 years of age.
