Crazy for sure. Seems like he was more like a Charles Manson than a Timothy McVeigh.

At some point Manson tried to get the blacks blamed for some of his murders. Sounds like what this crazy guy was trying to do.

What a shame. Poor children who lost their lives because of this man. By European standards... this man could be facing 20 years.

It’s a thought that’s occurred to me quite strongly; I’m still a little divided.

From reading his manifesto, it’s quite clear that he blames the “cultural Marxists” (his term) for Muslim immigration, and all that follows. To some extent, his choice of target was logical by his own perverse reasoning.

On the other hand, he did emulate a classic jihadist MO (actually, if I recall, it was pioneered by the Tamil Tigers), so maybe he was trying to create a “Helter Skelter” scenario.

It’s said, through his defense attorney, that he has plenty to say starting tomorrow at his court proceedings. Perhaps we’ll have a clearer idea of his motivation.
