Well, in the US the SWAT team shows up right away but takes 45 minutes to set up its “perimeter” and all its equipment. By the time they decide to go in, its all over. This is what happened at VA Tech.
I am not one to talk, because I am the biggest wimp around, but didn’t anybody on this island think about possibly trying to stop this guy? Sneak up behind him or something? I can’t imagine all these young men waiting to be picked off like fish in a barrel. Did anyone make an effort to stop him other than the police?
