Very concise analysis. Of course, it’s far too early to tell, however the Norwegian police have said that he’s being cooperative. Thus, the full story will likely emerge sooner rather than later.
Regardless of his motivations, political or religious, or something, this was a truly abhorrent and heinous act. Norway has no death penalty, but once all has been fully ascertained, I wouldn’t shed too many tears if I read that something highly unpleasant happened to the suspect during his incarceration.
If he was trying to blame the Muslim community for this via a false flag operation, I hope the Norwegian authorities would see to it to incarcerate him with a Muslim cellmate. I’m thinking someone about seven feet tall, and built like a brick s__thouse. The results could be most interesting.
If it had just been the Oslo bombing, I might have believed a "false flag" assertion. It would have been conceivable that he could have gotten away with it. Now, a blond guy shooting up a Labor Party youth camp is much less credible. It seems very unlikely that he could have thought he could have gotten away uncaptured.
