There is no possible way that Palin could win. She doesn’t have the full support from the base.

Of course Sarah has the full support of her base.

Sarah's base worships her as a goddess just like Obama's base worshiped him as a god.

The reason that Sarah cannot get elected President is that the other 72% of all voters have absolutely no interest in worshiping her and do not want her in the White House.

FOX News Poll (February 7-9, 2011)

Question 3: I am going to read you a list of names. Tell me if you think that person would make a good President or not.

Sarah Palin:

.................YES.........NO.......DK.....Never heard of

ALL...........23%.......72%.........4%.......1%

Dem ...........7%........87%........5%.......1%

Rep ...........40%.......56%.......3%.......1%

Ind ...........25%........69%.......3%.......1%

Reagan was a Democrat in a long distant history, the 1930s, and 1940s, Reagan was campaigning for Republicans by the 1950s.

Reagan was not an anti-Reagan Democrat supporting Carter, Mondale, and Al Gore and only becoming republican after Reagan was gone, Rick Perry and Mitt Romney did that, although Romney only became an independent, not a full blown, anti Reagan activist Democrat.

Reagan left the Democrats before the radical 1960s, Vietnam, Roe vs Wade, and Gay activism, feminism, abortion, affirmative action, anti-Americanism, Jimmy Carter, George McGovern, and of course, the Reagan Revolution.

Who were YOU supporting in 1984, were you still a Democrat, fighting against Reagan?

In the coming primary battle, the establishment, the “smart” money, the RINOs, the Sodom and Gomorrah political whores and the media are all aligned against the people with wicked giant Myth Romney. We the little people are backing Sarah the RINO Slayer from the North. It’s an uphill battle against huge odds, but we’ll be praying we’re on God’s side. We’ll need all the help we can get to smite the heathen giants.

Good grief.....that's even a worse list and a nonsensical one to boot!

Pssssssssst............Mark Steyn isn't even an American citizen.

“Mark Steyn isn’t even an American citizen.”

Is that a requirement for US Sec of State? He’d be the perfect man for the position. If you could get him to serve.

Now, if you want to criticise the list, feel free. Name names, and name people you would prefer over the list.

As for me, I’m not running for President, but you asked me for my ‘dream team’, and there you go.

What’s your problem with the other nominees?

“Oh yeah and getting even two of those people approved would be oh so easy.....NOT; not to mention the fact that some of your choices aren’t well thought out at all.”

Which choicse and why are they not thought out?

“And this is exactly why neither you nor Cain should even entertain the thought of running for president!”

So you are saying that my list is the same as Cains? Balderdash. You asked me for my personal list, so there you go. I want to hear your cabinet and why you believe that my choices are not ‘well thought out’.

I did NOT ask you for your "DREAM TEAM"; I asked who you would nominate for your cabinet, judge-ships ( which you completely ignored! ) and advisers ( which you completely ignored!), if you were president. You gave me a thoughtless list, not once, but twice........without any thought as to if they could get passed on, if they would do the job, citizenship, age, and a whole lot of other things. It's typical of what an average person would do and THAT is exactly my point.

Since members of a president's cabinet are in line to be president, should anything happen to the president,VEEP, etc., yes, they all have to be citizens. And you didn't know that. I wonder if Cain does.

There's no such thing as "Sec.of War" and you have no idea what all of the cabinet Secs are.

I asked you for a list, precisely because I knew that the average citizen, which Cain is, doesn't know this stuff and we don't want someone running for president, who is that uninformed!

My posting a list is not the point, here and I don't sit around making up such things. OTOH, I know enough, so that I know that nominating people for such positions takes a lot of time and thought and advise form those in the know; for many different reasons, which I'm not going to list for you.

Like it or not, Cain just should quit now and really shouldn't thrown his hat into the ring in the first place. As I keep saying........as far as I know, he is a good man; however, he isn't up for the job and people shouldn't run, who are on that low a level of knowledge and experience.

I'm saying that you and Cain are on the same level.

Bolton would NEVER get through a hearing, nor passed; for one.

Steyn isn't a citizen!

Your choices are NOT well thought out, not by a long shot and you don't even know all of the cabinet positions. You don't know the requirements. Neither do you know nor understand anything at all about getting a cabinet post nominee passed on. Ergo, your list is NOT "thought out" at all!

I long ago proved my point, hence there is no reason for me to post a stupid list.

Every president has trusted advisers to help him. We don't know who Cain's are, nor even if he has any.

Case closed.

“Your choices are NOT well thought out, not by a long shot and you don’t even know all of the cabinet positions”

For someone who says they know everything you sure are fast to assume that this was a mistake. No, it’s not a mistake.

The last Cabinet to look like this was Coolidge, and one could probably do without a Postmaster General. I’ve built the Cabinet exactly as he would without the cruft that has built up from the last 90 years of unconstitutional governance.

Now as for the rest, I don’t give a Tinker’s Damn about age. Why would a republican senate and house oppose any of these nominees? I want to see your reasoning for this. I am assuming that a president Cain wins in a landslide similar to that of Harding over Wilson.

“your list is NOT “thought out” at all!”

So your problem is that it doesn’t reach around to the Dims enough. Enough said.

“Every president has trusted advisers to help him. We don’t know who Cain’s are, nor even if he has any. “

I’m not running for president, and if your ‘argument’ is that my choices would be identical to Herman Cain’s, then I’m really not sure why you are putting up a fight against any of my nominees.

Since you’ve decided that I know nothing, let’s see *YOUR* cabinet. Put some names up.

“I long ago proved my point, hence there is no reason for me to post a stupid list.”

So you can dish it out, but you sure can’t take it, eh?

At least I made the effort to sound out a list of people and effectively answered your question. When pressed, you backed out.

End of story here. BenKenobi’s list might not meet with your approval, but you aren’t willing to do the work to provide a credible alternative.

Why am I not surprised to see that you favour a non-existant presidental candidate and are slinging mud against one who has announced.

Mythical cabinet list, mythical candidate for president. Says it all.

Incorrect. He became a Republican in 1962. That's less time between changing parties and his election to the Presidency than it has been since Perry switched parties.

If you're going to criticize Perry, at least come up with something that isn't completely kooky.

I never, NOT EVEN ONCE,said that your picks and Cains are/would be the same. This was just a lesson in why the average citizen isn't ready to be president.

I never claimed that I "know everything".What I have been saying is that YOU don't know enough and neither does Cain!

Coolidge? You're claiming that Silent Cal picked talk show hosts and columnists for his cabinet? REALLY? LOL

You can keep on asking me for "m,y list" until the cows come home; I don't have to post one. That isn't what any of this is about!

And what about judge-ships? How many judges do you personally know? What about advisers?

Come on, just accept my point...............people who don't know about the minutiae of government and don't have advisers who do are left out in the cold; lacking the cornerstones that every president needs. Some presidents make lousy choices, but they still know people who are on their side, whom they trust, and whom they listen to. WHO THE HELL DO YOU KNOW?

Would a GOP run House and Senate pass Steyn for a cabinet post? NEVER! Neither would they pass on many of your other choices. And if you can't figure out why, I'm not going to explain it to you.

Just get a grip...................

He didn't quit as governor and make millions in the process. They don't have three years of gaffes to turn him into Dan Quayle.

You are aware, are you not, that Sarah Palin had planned on quitting as Governor as early as January 2009? Had McCain not decided he'd rather be a Senator than President, she would be Vice President today.

Now, show me "three years of gaffes" from Sarah Palin.

What gaffes are you talking about? You sound like a RINO yourself. You are using all the RINO talking points to shoot down a conservative.

Are you a Romney bot? You are using the same lingo that the Romney bots used to undermine Palin in order to also undermine McCain and set Romney up for this 2012 run.

I like Perry. He'd make a fine President, but if you think the MSM won't try to turn him into a buffoon if he gets the nomination, then you are naive as hell. Perry has his own problems. Nobody out there is perfect... except Romney, who would be a perfect disaster.

And why doesn’t anyone think that Sarah Palin can turn around peoples’ perceptions of her, given that she would be running on her own, not in the shadow of a less than stellar nominee?

This a VERY important HIGHLY overlooked POV.

I believe she could generate more than McCain was able.

I voted the McCain-Palin ticket because she was on it. McCain never turned me on throughout the early stages of his campaign until he brought her on board.

Like an "Elvis" type of persona Sarah generates response, both positive & negative, from nearly everyone.

Put simply: Everyone has heard of Sarah Palin.

Perception is EVERYTHING. I believe she is quite capable of handling that.

The fact that you would cut off my post to create something different than what it said, tells us everything about you.

Here is what I said:
‘”Reagan was a Democrat in a long distant history, the 1930s, and 1940s, Reagan was campaigning for Republicans by the 1950s.”’

Reagan did not formally change his party registration until 1962, but he was campaigning for Republicans in the early 1950s, and endorsed Eisenhower in 1952 and 1956, and Nixon in 1960.

Rick Perry joined that Democrat Party.

Who were YOU supporting in 1984, were you still a Democrat, fighting against Reagan, like Rick Perry was?

Palin joined the Republican Party and was a Reagan fan from the very beginning, Perry was anti-Reagan during the Reagan Revolution, of course Mitt Romney was also.

Oh good grief!

You're just "hurt" because I proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that your list was not just pathetic, but that most none pols can't come up with one, on their own; but many pols couldn't either, which is WHY they have trusted advisers. OTOH, Pols know lots of people, from whom to make their choices from, which you don't.

My posting a list of "my cabinet" choices is neither here nor there. It would be better than yours; however, it still wouldn't be all that "good", because I don't have advisers to fill me in and THAT is the point! Get over yourself; you are making a fool of yourself and appear to not be able to understand any of this.

You can't even substantiate your stupid Coolidge reference.

Nonexistent candidate? Oh really? LOL

Without throwing her hat into the ring, Palin has far more support than Cain does; more support than Cain and most of the other announced candidates put together. Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it!

The quitting part is the problem regardless of when it happened.

What gaffes are you talking about?

Like the Paul Revere gaffe? If Paul Revere had used bells to warn the British, he would have been traitor.

And, it doesn't matter if Obama has made just as many gaffes, the media and Hollywood have, unfairly, turned her into Dan Quayle in the eyes of millions. That is something she has to overcome that other candidates don't.

Rick Perry doesn't have to dig out of that kind of hole.

If the goal is beating Obama with a conservative candidate, it is pretty hard sell to all but the hardcore Palin supporters that she would be a better candidate to get that accomplished than Perry. I can't see Perry losing if the election were held today.

It's a moot point anyway, since nobody in their right mind would choose him to be a Cabinet Sec. anyway. LOL
