She'd be a fool if she didn't and I certainly don't begrudge her for it. Liberals are crazy and dangerous.

I don’t think Palin has ever hired or rented security. At Pella the organizers engaged a security company. Palin didn’t bother with them, arriving in town in a rented car unbeknownst to the security team. They did provide protection after she arrived during the movie and barbeque.
