I can believe this. Many years ago while commuting to work I noticed men whose facial structure reminded me of primitive men. Some even had bunches of ugly black hair emanating from their white shirt sleeves.
These observations told me even then that Neanderthal man walked among us.

It would be nice if the article said what physical characteristics this gene was supposed to influence. I have heard of the “ginger gene” which was supposed to convey red hair and coloring. Was this a different one?
