yah...we got the e-mail yesterday informing us that we don’t need to do anything for our bill to double all by itself....it’s just like a Congressional pay raise....
I’ve never downloaded a movie from Netflix and probably never will, and there is no reason based on our customer history to double up on the charges for a service we have never used or asked for. But the onus is on us to straighten this out, and I’m inclined to make sure we don’t have anymore Netflix problems by cancelling Netflix entirely.
All the movies I’ve ever wanted to see, I’ve already seen....what’s the point?
It should be that if you don't do anything your bill will go DOWN - to just the mail no streaming.
As it is, when you do something, that will be to SAVE money.
It separated out the costs to make a more attractive option for people like you who don't stream - it just got sold wrong - and bad that the onus is on you to change it or your bill doubles for a service you don't use.
But it is saving me money - you also, either a couple bucks or all of it - depending on if you cancel. ;)
If you don’t use the streaming, then you can save money by deleting the streaming option and going to dvd only. Netflix is separating the charges for streaming and dvd.
