I used to think it might be better to have a slowly reduced payment system. At this point though I think cold turkey is better.
If you call that trolling, whatever. Your little threats add nothing and imo are the real ‘trolling’ here.

Some people cannot go cold turkey, especially when the SS rug gets pulled out underneath them when they are older. Their age prevents them from recouping the money they paid into SS.
If the government wants to refund me the money I paid into SS, plus money that I would have made if invested- I would call it even.
