Glenn was simply telling them that he and many millions of us support them and are still loyal to Israel.

That is all he needed to say. Not the passage in Ruth where she converts to Judaism. Beck is twice removed from the truth of the Holy Scriptures. I am glad he is supporting Israel in a big way. I wish more of our high profile Christian friends like Rush, or Hannity or Politicians would have taken the leadership on this issue.

Better yet, I wish our Jewish leaders would have done it....

I don’t think Beck was trying to speak in theological terms in quoting Ruth. He seems to have been looking for an image that would express that he wants the Jewish people and the world and the almighty to know that he understands that Judaism and the Jewish people remain the source and strength for all the teachings of ethical monotheism.

The almighty works in mysterious ways.
