A shetland pony should be able to win against Obama. He has made such huge messes. But a shetland pony is not running and neither is Palin. I hope she does run. I believe that not only will she stomp Obama in to the ground it will be the biggest defeat we have seen in modern history.

Patience, patience. Just 16 days until the statute of limitations runs out for the Alaska notroots to file their endless bogus ethics lawsuits.

She’d have to fire almost everyone in DC and start over. She’d have to shut down or gut huge agencies.

Virtually everyone now in DC will fight tooth and nail to keep her out of the WH.
This truly would be a fundamental transformation - back to what we’re supposed to be.

One can imagine the explosion in private sector jobs. Who would be left to oppose her except the corrupt bastards who want their lucrative little kingdoms back.

Of course she is running. She just is refusing to play by the “rules” the establishment and the media have set. There isn’t the slightest reason to announce yet, all that would do is give the enemy a fixed target.
It would force every aspect of every thing she does to fit into campaign law.
The bus tour would have been impossible.

If this was the 1980 election,, Reagans announcement would still be several months away. November 13th.

She is Sun Tsu,, refusing to march onto a battlefield that her enemy is standing on, fully prepared, in a location they chose. And she is attacking elsewhere.

It is driving them bats*^t insane. They are running this cover to goad her. They exclude her from every poll to goad her (”see,, we excluded her until she announces”,,, Guliani is in some polls,, but not Sarah)
Meanwhile, she is touring the primary states in the NE,, Touring Iowa,,
etc

Oh yes,, she is running. But she is employing asymetrical warfare.

“A shetland pony should be able to win against Obama. He has made such huge messes.”

Obama remains reasonably popular despite his blunders, anti-American antics, unpopular policies, and dismal economic conditions. I am baffled that his approval rating remains reasonably high despite the negative sentiment of the country. Bush barely won re-election against a very weak opponent despite a strong and improving economy. Obama has been very clever in blaming Bush. Many independents still blame Bush and Republicans. The worse news about Obama is that his policies are not yet widely implemented. Health care, energy, financial services, and taxes will not fully be in place until his second term.

Democrats have bought votes. Almost 50 percent of the population does not pay federal income taxes. More than 50 percent receive substantial transfer payments. In addition, Democrats have overwhelming support of powerful interest groups (labor cartels, trial lawyers, environmentalists, media, and rent-seeking businesses) so they have the money to influence public opinion.

Obama will win unless Republicans can find a strong candidate and stop third party dilution of votes. I am not optistic that Obama can be stopped. He should be dead in the water without any possibility of re-election. Instead, he still is the one to beat although he can be defeated with the right candidate.

I really don't think this is true. A populace who can elect Obama can very easily re-elect him. I think (though I hope I'm wrong), it'll be much more difficult than we think it will be to oust that guy.

Don't be so sure. The mindless idiots that voted for him the first time are still out there and still delusional. Globalists, unionists, academia and their students that are all in 'awe' of him and couldn't tell you what he has or hasn't done with any degree of accuracy.

We must fight to defeat him, no matter what.

Should.

But when the election starts; logic and clear thinking goes out the window. Emotion and childlike thoughts will be present again amongst Obama supporters.

The big unknown is if and when Sarah gets into office, what will happen to the crony-ism that pervades Washington? She will not be able to root out the miscreants and malfeasors in office without lots and lots of help. It will not be like getting rid of the entrenched rusted leadership in Alaska. It will be far more difficult.

I want Sarah to run, but who will help her succeed? My bet is that she will have less than half of the republican caucus behind her, though they will talk a good game.

Do you think Mear-cow-ski is going to help her? Even McCain will stab her in the back, and other governors around the country will not support her either.

I fear that the status quo will continue until the system fails unless the public stops voting for the person who gives them the most goodies. The must start once again to recognize what true individual freedom is.

I wish there were new worlds to explore, for I would certainly board that leaking ship and set off to start over again.

President Palin will be elected with a 538-0 win over Obama. That’s right, she’ll take ALL the states.

I disagree with your analysis. The country is now heavily invested in socialism and won’t let go so easily. I think Sarah will run Goldwater-like, but I will of course vote for her if she is the nominee.

A shetland pony should be able to win against Obama. He has made such huge messes.

That is because more than 28% of all voters would believe that the shetland pony's unknown owner (who would actually be ruling) may actually be a good President.

Sarah Palin, on the other hand, has worse negatives than that shetland pony. (See February's FOX News poll below).

For a sitting President, Obama has pathetically bad poll numbers. In the April Gallup Poll, 46% of all voters stated that they will "definitely NOT" vote for Obama. (See April Gallup Poll below)

How can such a President possibly get reelected in 2012 with such toxic polling?

Simple. Just pit him against a candidate who polling is far, far more toxic. Just pit him against a GOP nominee that 65% of all voters have stated that they will "definitely NOT" vote for. Just pit him against Sarah Palin.

===========================

FOX News Poll (February 7-9, 2011)

Question 3: I am going to read you a list of names. Tell me if you think that person would make a good President or not.

Sarah Palin:

.................YES.........NO.......DK.....Never heard of

ALL...........23%.......72%.........4%.......1%

Dem ...........7%........87%........5%.......1%

Rep ...........40%.......56%.......3%.......1%

Ind ...........25%........69%.......3%.......1%
