For a minute there I thought Moose was getting sued.
I was confused about why the company would need to go to court, in case others are confused here is the final part of the short piece “Now, Archie wants a judge to grant an injunction — barring Nancy from returning to the office ... and preventing her from representing the company at the upcoming Comic-Con in San Diego.”
I guess since she is the CEO they can’t just fire her? The board has to do that?
She sounds a little nuts. If this behaviour is sudden and unprecedented maybe they better try and get her some help.
“Archie Comics Publications has filed legal papers against co-CEO Nancy Silberkleit — claiming she has a history of bullying and sexually harassing employees ...”
And no man at Archie Comics Publications had the testicular fortitude to stand up to this hell on wheels and teach her a bit of respect.
Like a FReeper who recently posted on a different, but related topic, he quoted his grandmother who said something to the effect that “Men can be bad, but when women go bad they are just evil.”
As that famous saying goes, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”
And the men at that company did nothing until now...as a group.
What horror am I missing?
A simple search on the “Archie-Veronica” search engine would have found all the earlier stories on this. :-)

I work for a silly little woman whose main claims to competence are frenetic attention to niggling details and her inability to stop swearing. The swearing seems to be considered cute toughness or tough cutness by most of the fat old bald guys in charge.

I’d imagine there can be few things as satisfying as turning the “hostile workplace” laws against a foul-mouth female bully like this one. She shouldn’t get a pass on this kind of behavior just because she’s a woman, although I’d bet money that she figured she was exempt from the consequences.
Silber is silver. I wonder what "kleit" is? A clinical term for what organ?
