And I can tell you by direct observation that since Romney announced his candidacy, the most vile, hateful and bigoted Mormon-bashing has been given free license on FR and nearly all of the Mormons that I knew here - hard-working Christian conservatives - have been driven off of this site. Whether they were Romney supporters or not.

(I don't think DU was; & Domandred critiqued Romney a fair amount in '08...tho haven't seen Domandred on too many lds threads in recent yrs...Domandred, from my observation, has been an objective, fair-minded poster... unlike so many Lds FREEPERS who got themselves zotted... most weren't "driven off" as spiff's tall tales go...they broke the rules & self-invited a zot!)
