The “cuts” are probably in the out years when a future congress will not vote them in.
Also, any cuts to medicare care will be in payments to providers, not in benefits. Of course, finding a provider under medicare for what will be the approved payment of $15 will be impossible.
There should be some sort of amendment that limits cuts to the current congress only.
