You deny that people are angry and looking for someone to take it out on? Really? Just listen to HLN, FOX News etc... the reporters and reporterettes are whipping up the anger. Just read the anger on the Casey threads here on FR and other news sites. Sorry I am not the delusional one. Media better cool it or someone is going to get hurt by some looney idiot. Leave the jurors alone, they did their job.... regardless if we disagree.

Well the tube is across the room from me and Nancy Grace has NOT showed one instance of mob rule. NOT one vehicle has yet been torched... or storefront glass been broken... I think you are the one seeing things NOT even on the horizon. OH and for the record I do not hold Nancy's opinions in high regard ever since she took up for old bjClinton and his lawless acts way back in the day.

“Come back in 10 or 15 years, she’ll look like Keith Richards after a truck ran over him.”

I was thinking the same thing earlier this afternoon. Who will hire her, date her, marry her? Just the usual bunch of lowlife’s. Her family is destroyed, she done.

That said, I do believe the verdict is legally correct despite the fact that I think she's guilty.

Yep that's the way I feel I'm afraid. Kind of like the Michael Jackson case. In that one of the jurors said something "We think he's guilty, just not with this boy in this case so we had to acquit."

.................The evidence linking Casey to the murder/overdose was slim and circumstantial, period..........

Except for the fact that the swamp ridden body had a blanket, canvas bag, clothes, tape, that could only have come from the Anthony residence.

I don’t think that the tooth fairy visited Caylee in the night!

Yes, kinda like Michael Jackson and OJ. You can lead a jury to reason, but you can’t make them think.

I’da thought they would find her guilty of a lesser charge

That depends on the court system. Many times the jury can only find guilty or not guilty for the exact charges filed, and not find for lesser charges.

It's the prosecutor's job to file the charges. Many places and less serious crimes the prosecutors shoot high knowing they won't get it but bank on not-guilty of original charges not being able to afford trial so copping to lesser charges in plea bargaining just to get it over with.

Sometimes prosecutors go too high and the defendants go all in and things like this happen.

Best comment I’ve seen on the verdict anywhere...

With this jury, even a video or a confession itself from Casey (which her attesting to seeing her dead daughter in George’s arms) would not be enough to convict Casey Anthony of 1st degree murder punishable by death.

no, she's a complete turnoff...very unlikable..but there was very little evidence....no blood on shoes..or dna...or a witness...etc....

I congratulate the jury on keeping to the facts...

...........it’s a safe bet this chick will pay a high price for the life she will undoubtedly lead after this..................

Yeah! I doubt that after she trashed her parents that they will ever take her in; She’s never held a job; No company would ever want to hire such a controversial total lier.

Seems to me that the only profession that she might be qualified for is in the hardcore porno industry!

The prosecution just couldn’t prove Means, Opportunity, and Motive. It SUCKS but I get it.

WRONG. The prosecution absolutely proved Means, Opportunity, and Motive and Casey Anthony is guilty of murder. Any thinking juror should have seen this. To fall for the total BS as put forth by the defense in this case is inexcusable. What is our country coming to? It is the same lack of critical thinking that got us the likes of Obama.

If she was found NOT QUILTY what grounds would Equisearch sue her?

Because she knew the child was dead (per her testimony), lied to the police about it, and let the search proceed anyway. They would sue to recover their costs incurred because of her lies.

Interestingly, she may not have 5th Amendment rights because of her immunity due to double jeopardy. Some interesting things could come out in a civil trial is she is forced to face a deposition.

That makes sense, assuming you are more aware of the facts than all the jurors. 12 people sat through the entire case and agreed this woman, convicted in the media, was not guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt.

"It was definitely a homicide."

Really?

What was the cause of death?

Where did the deed occur?

Who was present?

What was the date and time?

Neither you nor the prosecution can answer any of these questions.

That makes it really hard to convince a jury. And that is a very good thing.

I have seen some real railroad jobs, and fear getting caught up in some prosecutor's pre-election zeal.

If there is any blame for an unsatisfactory outcome here, I suspect it should be shouldered by the initial investigators.

Not to be a nitpick, but the standard is "beyond a reasonable doubt".

To: When do we get liberated?

You don’t have to be guilty beyond a shadow of doubt, only beyond a reasonable doubt. There is a difference. In this case, reason and logic, as given to us by God, easily leads to a sensible conclusion that this woman, Casey, murdered her kid. The case presented includes reasonable answers about means, opportunity, and motive.

Make no mistake, I completely with this statement. I will submit that this goes on much more than many people think.

It is good political capital when such an office seeker proclaims a 100% conviction rate. That tells me that something is wrong.

Casey will be subject to a much higher court. One that knows all. That would be the one court I would be afraid of more than anything if I were her.

not guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt.

"Reasonable" doubt. Not the same thing.

"Because she knew the child was dead (per her testimony),..."

Well damn, there ya go, shedding light on everything.

Thanks so much for filling us all in on her testimony, it seems you just can't trust the media anymore...they kept lying to us that she did not testify, if you can believe that!

Do you happen to know if the jury was on vacation the days she testified? Or maybe it happened on the 4th and the fireworks distracted them?
