I want the government to ban same-sex marriage because it’s immoral. I guess I am wrong.

There are plenty of non-moral reasons to ban homosexual marriage based on fact, logic, reason and supporting evidence. If we start down the road of legislated morality, then an Obama-like administration can just as easily criminalize/ban Christianity or any other Cinservative value because ‘their’ morality is ‘better than yours’ in their opinion.

Is that really what you want? I doubt you do. I sure don’t.

This is the very reason Govt. should stay out of the ‘morality’ business entirely. It ain’t always ‘your’ govt. in power.

That's not the same thing at all. In the case of same-sex marriage, there IS NO SUCH THING and never has been. What we're trying to do is prevent the government from CREATING the concept of same-sex marriage and forcing it on society. In the case of the video games, the idea is that the government has no authority to ban a product that private businesses create and sell to private citizens. Now, if the government wanted to take taxpayer money and design obscene or violent video games, I would be all for ending that nonsense, but that's not what we're dealing with here.
