What a f**king disgrace that would be. We might as well set up a mercenary military with the price being citizenship. We don't need to use lawbreakers to serve inour armed forces. It is a privilege not a payoff to illegal aliens. As a veteran, I view such a solution as an insult.
Gotta disagree. Anyone who is willing to put his or her ass in the line of fire for this country deserves to be a citizen irrespective of their motivation. Of course, I also think that anybody who "conscientious objects" should lose theirs.
