You might also want to know that E.A. Poe was an opium addict, but still wrote incredible poetry; US Grant drank a bit but was a heck of a General, and E. Hemingway was a drunk, but wrote some wonderful novels.

According to you....while Mr. Mason was "a bird-flipping, raging liberal drunk", he and the rest of the defense team won the case over inept, unskilled, and largely unprepared prosecutors.
